A photograph of Ghislaine Maxwell with a black eye emerged this week.

Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime pal of Bill Clinton, is presently in federal custody on the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York awaiting trial.

Ghislaine’s protection lawyer mentioned his shopper was unaware of the bruising till she “caught a reflection of her aching eye” in a nail clipper.

“While Ms. Maxwell is unaware of the cause of the bruise … she has grown increasingly reluctant to report information to the guards for fear of retaliation, discipline, and punitive chores. However, there is concern that the bruise may be related to the need for Ms. Maxwell to shield her eyes from the lights projected into her cell throughout the night,” Sternheim wrote, in response to ABC News.

Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York Alison Nathan ordered the federal government to justify the usage of nightly flashlight checks in Ghislaine’s jail cell.

“Is Ms. Maxwell being subjected to flashlight surveillance every 15 minutes at night? Or any other atypical flashlight surveillance?” Judge Alison Nathan requested prosecutors in a quick order Thursday. “If so, what is the basis for doing so?”

Ghislaine’s attorneys insist their shopper isn’t suicidal.

“She’s kept up at night every 15 minutes with lights shined in her eyes so that they can check her breathing,” argued David Markus, Ghislaine Maxwell’s appellate lawyer. “She’s not suicidal. There’s no evidence she’s suicidal. Why is the Bureau of Prisons doing this? They’re doing it because Jeffrey Epstein died on their watch.”

Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial is scheduled to start on July 12, though her attorneys are requesting a delay after their shopper was not too long ago hit with an 8-count superseding indictment with fourth sufferer alleging sexual abuse.

Documents unsealed in the Ghislaine Maxwell case a couple weeks ago present that the DOJ knew years in the past that Epstein and Maxwell had been working ladies as younger as 12 however they refused to behave for years.
