Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds of Iowa mentioned in an interview on Thursday that she has turned down a request for her state to accommodate migrant youngsters displaced amid the Biden administration’s border disaster 1,000 miles away.
Speaking with host Jeff Angelo of Des Moines-based WHO-AM radio, the governor mentioned that the Department of Health and Human Services requested Iowans to accommodate migrant youngsters who’re at the moment in overflowing detention services alongside the southern border.
