President Joe Biden as soon as claimed that he had been arrested on the age of 21 for trespassing within the Capitol, describing against the law that’s much like these for which some individuals within the January 6 Capitol riot presently face federal expenses.
Fox News reported Sunday:
Recounting the small print of the arrest – which apparently occurred on a Saturday – Biden mentioned had been visiting some buddies at Georgetown University, and determined to go to Washington as a result of he “was fascinated with the Senate.”
“In those days, no guards stopping you everywhere. And they just got out of session. I walked in the back, all of the sudden I found myself in the chamber. I was stunned. I walked up, sat down in the presiding officer’s seat, guy grabbed by the shoulder, said: ‘you’re under arrest,’” Biden mentioned.

Fox News famous that Biden has boasted about being arrested earlier than — and that his boast turned out to have been false.
Specifically, Biden claimed through the 2020 presidential election that he had been arrested whereas making an attempt to see an imprisoned Nelson Mandela on a go to to South Africa. His marketing campaign later admitted it was not true.
The Capitol rioter who wore horns through the occasion is accused of, amongst different issues, sitting within the presiding officer’s chair.
